to pray for her protection. People there will be watching for when her resources start to come.

Just got this from Pastor Carl;
We are friends of Sherrie's and we live here in Haiti. We have been very concerned about her and we were getting emails about her. Phones here aren't working and her internet is down so she couldn't contact anyone in the States or here.
Yesterday we went to see her, and we are so grateful to say that she is OK. That is such wonderful news! Julie is OK as well. Sadly though her house was demolished in the earthquake. All the students were able to escape safely, though Anne is hurt and Peterson Pierre died in his attempt to get out. All the orphanage children are safe. Sherrie's secretary Chantal died in her home during the quake.
She is trying to take what she can from the house to the new school, and hopes to begin school on Monday.
SHE NEEDS HELP - THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO. The kids and Sherrie lost most of their personal belongings and clothing so there are immediate needs.
The best way to help right now is through monetary gifts.
She is also going to need Medical Teams - many injuries
Sherrie had asked me to send emails out to her people, but since I don't use Yahoo and my internet time is short, I have not been able to send very many. I found your names listed under Christian Light so I am emailing you to ask if you'd help get the word out about Sherrie and the situation she's in...she has immediate and long term needs and she truly needs all the help she can get.
